Lufuno Mavhungu Lufuno Mavhungu is a Creative Director and a lover of great ideas. In fact, it was her love of great ideas that lead her to work on accounts such as Nando’s, MINI Cooper, 1 st for Women, FNB, Hyundai and OLX to name a few. Along her journey she also collected numerous awards such as a Cannes Lion, a couple of Loeries including the coveted Loerie Grand Prix, several Pendorings, Creative Circle Ad of the Year and is a One Show finalist. When she isn’t making ads, Lufuno enjoys writing short stories and poetry, watching soccer and convincing her neighbors that she is the greatest vocalist alive – they’re not convinced though. She also enjoys coming up with bold (and often outlandish) ideas for every sphere of life. Lufuno lives by the ideology that great insights create great ideas, which then creates impactful work.

Leroy Moeketse He’s an Idea Engineer. Claim to fame? Crafting ideas for brands that result in experiences that build relationships with consumers. After graduating from Vega in 2010, Leroy hit the ground running as a copywriting and strategy intern at PublicisSA. A year later he was heading up LimelightSA’s personal care clients and, three years after that, winning his first Loeries, including a Grand Prix, with South Africa's most awarded branding and design agency, Grid Worldwide Johannesburg. It was here he found his passion for Making Brands Mean Something through strategic-led brand design. A move to freelance-integrated agency, Troika Imagineering Works, saw him hone his branding and strategic thinking skills, and it wasn’t long before Brand Union came knocking. Then, wanting a new challenge, Leroy moved to Africa’s biggest activations agency, The Creative Counsel, to build BTL expertise with numerous FMCG and corporate brands. To play an active role in bringing his ideas to life, he shipped to hot-shot experiential agency, VWV, where he conceptualises and guides local and international brand experiences. |
