We are living in a time where being creative has never been more powerful. My goal is to authentically place brands in the centre of culture through inclusive storytelling and value creation programmes. Emma Drummond
Creative Group Head,
King James Digital

You know the feeling when everyone is singing happy birthday to you and you don’t know where to look or what to do with your hands? That’s how Emma feels about writing her own bio. But this is not about her, this is about the great things the Loeries team are doing that Emma gets to be involved in; like judging the Digital Craft Writing entries this year. So let’s drop the third-person bs and get to it, shall we?
I used to write poems and give them to my parents. Then I asked them to pay me for said poems. So it makes sense that both writing and marketing have stayed a big part of my life.

Working in digital for the past 12 years (gotta sneak the tenure in there) has taught me that the most interesting things about what I do often having nothing to do with the work or the awards (not-so-subtle humble brag). They have to do with the people and the crazy, stupid and brave things we do in an industry that evolves through craziness, stupidity and bravery. The rest you can find on LinkedIn. Or just ask me? I’m much better in person than Emma is in third-person.
