The Loeries Creative Future scholarship was launched 10 years ago in 2008 to encourage and enable creativity at grassroots levels, by assisting learners from disadvantaged backgrounds to study brand communication at a tertiary institution. The scholarship is now the creative industry's richest bursary, covering everything a learner requires, including fees, study materials, accommodation and living expenses as well as mentorship, internship and employment in the advertising and brand communication industry.

In its ongoing support of young talent development, the Loeries is working in partnership with the AAA School of Advertising Johannesburg, TBWA Hunt Lascaris Johannesburg, VEGA School of Branding and Sunshinegun who, together, are contributing to the Creative Future Scholarship.

Pete Khoury, Chief Creative Officer at TBWA Hunt Lascaris Johannesburg challenged other agencies to also sponsor the Creative Future Scholarship. "The more sponsorships the Loeries gets, the wider our talent pool becomes," he said.
