Nigerian, South African firms partner on creative awards

Loeries Award Company, a continental creative ranking firm based in South Africa, has renewed its relationship with MARKETING EDGE, a leading Nigerian brands and marketing publication. The new deal was consummated yesterday at a breakfast meeting between the management of MARKETING EDGE and Loeries Award Company held at De Renaissance Hotel, Lagos. Read more here

We didn’t pay much attention to the Loeries, Says Babaeko

As part of the Loeries resolve to extend the frontiers of its award to the West African region, especially Nigeria, Loeries CEO, Andrew Human on Wednesday visited one of Nigeria’s vibrant creative agencies, X3M Ideas. The Loeries boss was received by the CEO of X3M Ideas, Steve Babaeko who introduced him to the agency staff and took him on a tour of each department and facility.  See more here

Loeries CEO, Andrew Human who is in Nigeria as part of LAC’s road show in Africa and the Middle East noted that his organisation was motivated to renew the partnership with MARKETING EDGE based on the fruitful and productive relationship between both parties last year. Read more here

#LoeriesRankings, Zulu Pendorings and other local success for the BBC

The BBC may be a British brand at heart, but its programming – and even advertising – has made a mark with local viewers. So much so that its hilarious and highly localised ‘Wholenut Fish’ for the Great South African Bake Off on BBC Lifestyle took home a Gold Loerie. See more here.

#LoeriesRankings with Red & Yellow

Red & Yellow School’s students took home five student Loeries in total in 2016, including poster silver for “Hell, who’s in it”, publication design bronze for “Animal Farm Revisited”, integrated campaign bronze for Sii effluent detection’s “Swimming In It”. See more here

A call for entries for the newly expanded Loeries, the awards for the brand communication industry in Africa nad th Middle East, was issued yesterday. Three new award categories had been added this year. See more here.

MultiChoice DStv featured in seventh spot in the Loeries Rankings for 2016 based on the latest rendition of the awards – a high accolade as the brand didn’t even feature in the 2015 table. Read more here

#LoeriesRankings with AAA School

AAA School students took home eight student Loeries in total – the AAA School Cape Town was responsible for most of those, including radio commercial campaign gold for Mweb Uncapped Internet’s “Destination Dale, Nathan and Susan”. See more here
