Special AwardsThe following special prizes will be awarded at The 39th Annual Loerie Awards during Loeries® Creative Week™ Durban.

SANBS Public Service Award
New in 2017, the SANBS Public Service Award will provide the recognition deserved for outstanding creative work in this sector. This new award was conceived with the intention to reward campaigns created for charitable work.

All work that is marked as public service or charity on the entry form will be eligible for the SANBS Public Service Award. Once the Gold winning work has been selected at the end of Judging Week, the Loeries Chairperson, Suhana Gordhan, and one additional judge will select the winner of this special award - which will be presented at the final awards evening.

Young Creatives Award - WIN R60,000:
The Young Creatives Award  recognises outstanding achievement by talented individuals at the beginning of their careers (27 or under), working in any area of brand communication. The award consists of a cash award of R60,000. Entry is free, but subject to the Loeries standard terms and conditions which can be found on the link at the bottom of this page.

Creative Future Scholarship - receive a full scholarship to kickstart your career in creative communications!
The Loeries initiated the Creative Future Scholarship in 2008 to encourage and enable creativity at grassroots level, by assisting learners from a disadvantaged background to study brand communication at a tertiary institution. Last year, the scholarship was awarded to Samukelisiwe Faku from Inanda Newtown Comprehensive, Londeka Gumede and Roxanne Schoon both of Durban Girls High, and Mali Khuzwayo from Mowat Park High.

The Creative Future Scholarship covers just about everything - fees, study materials, accommodation and living expenses. Plus it offers mentorship, internship and employment in the communications industry. Unlike other education funds, this programme goes to high schools across the country, builds awareness and seeks out talented individuals. Through this process, learners who would otherwise be unaware of the opportunities available, are brought into the creative industry.

Street Pole Award - WIN A TRIP TO CANNES: The overall winner of the ADreach Street Pole category will automatically be entered into the outdoor category at the Cannes Lions Festival. In addition, the winner gets a trip for two to attend the event in Cannes. NOTE: Street-pole entries may have flighted on any street-pole media and the category is NOT restricted to ads that have only flighted on ADreach poles.

Plus, WIN A FREE LOERIE ENTRY and ROCKSTAR package!
If you have flighted (or will be flighting) a street-pole campaign with ADreach between 1 June 2012 - 31 May 2013, you could be one of the 5 campaigns selected to receive a FREE ENTRY into the 2013 Loeries. Plus one of these lucky five will be selected to win a Loeries Rockstar ticket package for Loeries Creative Week Cape Town (accommodation and travel not included).
