Loeries Creative Week Fringe Festival portal launched
A Fringe Festival portal, developed by Between 10and5, lists the fringe events and provides a central hub to connect the events across the Fringe. Whether in music, food, comedy, arts & crafts or the arts, local creatives are encouraged to host an event that will inspire everyone during Creative Week. List events on the portal in less than 5 minutes.

Loeries add Facebook challenge for students in an effort to keep the Madiba (Nelson Mandela) legacy and spirit alive, this year's Loeries creative awards have added a Facebook challenge that focuses on the use of mobile media to promote a socially relevant cause. Read more here

The Facebook Challenge calls on students to create powerful mobile video content on behalf of The Nelson Mandela Foundation – the custodian of Madiba’s brand, memory, and legacy of social activism. RIP Tony Koenderman
Tony Koenderman's family have announced that he passed away on the evening of Sunday, 9 April from complications that arose after an operation for a broken leg and an extended stay in ICU.Koenderman was inducted into the Loeries Hall of Fame in 2015. For more click here

Loeries Award Company, a continental creative ranking firm based in South Africa, has renewed its relationship with MARKETING EDGE, a leading Nigerian brands and marketing publication. The new deal was consummated yesterday at a breakfast meeting between the management of MARKETING EDGE and Loeries Award Company held at De Renaissance Hotel, Lagos. Read more here

As part of the Loeries resolve to extend the frontiers of its award to the West African region, especially Nigeria, Loeries CEO, Andrew Human on Wednesday visited one of Nigeria’s vibrant creative agencies, X3M Ideas. A call for entries for the newly expanded Loeries, the awards for the brand communication industry in Africa nad th Middle East, was issued yesterday. Three new award categories had been added this year. See more here.
